Q. What is a Master Technology Agency?

A. Connectivity Source has agreements with most major providers in many areas of technology who pay us commissions for selling their services. We do this by working with Agent Partners such as phone and networking vendors, communications consultants, MSP’s, and any other providers of technology solutions to their customers. We pay our Agent Partners a percentage of the commissions which allows them to propose our services with no cost to the end customers, in fact many times our savings over the current services can be used by our Agent Partners to offset any of their costs to the customer.

Q. How is Connectivity Source different from other Master Agents?

A. At Connectivity Source we tailor our Agent Partner experience based on what is best for each Agent Partner individually. We know every companies’ is different, so we do not force our Agent Partners to conform to our process but tailor our process to work best with our Agent Partners. We offer many ways to quote and process orders so this can be done easily in the best was possible which improves productivity and efficiency for all when working on solutions for your end customers. We are not an “Auto Quote” shop and have dedicated channel, quote, and order managers who are ready to assist our Agent Partner experience maximum success.

Q. How much commission does Connectivity Source pay its partners?

A. As a Tier 1 Master Agent, Connectivity Source enjoys the highest commissions available from our vendors. We pay some of the highest percentages out to our Agent Partners in the industry and our policy is to beat any percentage paid out by our competitors if you move to us. Because of this in many cases what our Agent Partners receive in commissions from us is greater than what they would earn working on a direct agreement with the vendor themselves. All our commission payouts are completely detailed in our partner contract and are evergreen in many cases.

Q. How and when are commissions paid?

A. Commissions are paid the 15th of each month on all commissions we receive by the 10th of that month. All vendors pay differently but on average pay us the month after the service is installed. Most commissions are paid to us as a monthly residual percentage of what the customer bills, and we are paid this commission as long as the customer has the service with the vendor. We pay a large percentage of what we receive out to our Agent Partners and have some Agent Partners that have been receiving commissions over 15 years on their orders. At times there are upfront bonuses paid by our vendors which can greatly increase the commission amount and we pass a large percentage to our Agent Partners as well.
